Flora Campus Westland

Flora Village, located on the Flora Campus Westland in Naaldwijk, comprises approximately 26,850 m² GFA and will soon provide housing for around 1,200 international workers in a design where sustainability, flexibility, and social cohesion take center stage. More than just a residential building, Flora Village is being developed as an innovative housing concept that supports the ambitions of the Flora Campus Westland.
Superimpose Architecture and Wubben.Chan architecten are designing a “vertical community.” A U-shaped plinth of five stories, topped by two towers of around 60 meters, is combined with warm materials and generous green outdoor spaces. The result is a building with a recognizable, human scale. The building will be constructed entirely without scaffolding, using prefabricated timber-frame façade elements and interior modules. This approach supports an efficient, circular, and low-emission construction process. In addition, Flora Village aims to achieve a BREEAM Excellent sustainability rating, ensuring its long-term value. The project is also designed with a future secondary function in mind, making it easily convertible into student housing.
